The little dragon
Millions of years ago, perhaps trillions, large reptiles existed on Earth. It was the time of dinosaurs and also dragons. Very few dragons survived the enormous catastrophes that wiped out the dinosaurs.
The dragons had large wings and were able to take refuge in the crevices of large mountains such as the Carpathian Mountains, the Pyrenees and the Andes.
This is the story of a family of dragons that managed to survive.
There were three dragons. The daddy dragon was the biggest and had red eyes, like the fire that came out of his nose when he was upset or afraid.
The mother dragon was light blue and had emerald green eyes, large and round. Its scales were iridescent, as were its almost transparent wings. He moved with grace and really liked playing with the little dragon.
Drago, the little dragon, was plump, he had inherited fire-colored eyes from his father and he also threw flames when he was scared. He played a lot with his mother and loved going out to the meadow to roll in the tender green grass while his mother prepared the salad she made from tender artichoke stems and succulent bamboos.
