He values the selfless effort such as that of the Ladies of Escazú with whom for more than twenty years he has collaborated in lending the reproduction of their paintings for charitable purposes. With the collaboration of several artists, these ladies have managed to create a kindergarten for children of low-income mothers who must work outside their homes; They formed a youth library, for research and community recreation, and have provided help to the community's nursing homes. Reproductions of the paintings are used to form calendars and sell greeting cards all year round.
